Description
the deep slightly curved sides rising from a short tapering foot to an everted rim, painted to the interior with a medallion enclosing a scaly winged dragon reserved on an iron-red wave ground, the exterior similarly painted with various mythical beasts between keyfret and dentil bands
Condition
The bowl is in very good overall condition with the exception of minor firing impurities to the glaze in the well of the interior; light flaking and rubbing to the enamel of the base of the interior; and very light scratching to the glaze of the interior.
