the finely carved figure dressed in loose-fitting robes, the hem decorated with scrolling lotus, seated with his left hand resting on his raised bent left knee, his right hand holding a shoe, inlaid with seed pearls and spinel stones, on a pierced rock work base

Condition

With the exception of 13 losses to inlay; six small chips to the edges of the robes around the base; minor nibbles to the inner edges of the shoe; four chips to the rockwork of the base; and very light scratches, this piece is in very good condition.
