A RARE PAIR OF 'MAN AND HORSE' GROUPS QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY

Description
each modelled with a man with moustache and conical-hat standing beside a large black horse on a rectangular pedestal base, the man wearing a bright green tunic with hands raised as if holding reigns, the horse with green saddle and saddle cloth edged in pink and the harness hung with pendent bells and a red tassel
Condition
As illustrated in the catalogue: the group on the right is in good overall condition with the exception of the loss to the left ear of the horse and restoration to the tail; the group on the left has loss to the right ear of the horse, to the mans left hand and the tip of the plume on his hat; repair to breaks on the horses tail and around the hooves; the man has been re-attached to the base; a circa 9cm., long hairline firing line to the top of the base, a circa 2cm., hairline crack to the edge of the base; minor nibbles and firing imperfections.
