each boldly constructed and painted in bright enamels with vertical panels of qilin, deer, tigers and figures in mountainous river landscapes, with further panels of lotus, peony, chrysanthemum and precious objects

Condition

First Vase - 32cm horizontal crack to the lower section and a 1.5cm by 1cm chip to the centre of the body. Fritting to the foot and the rim, with three chips to the rim (1.5cm by 0.7cm, 1.2cm by 0.5cm and 1cm by 0.5cm). There is enamel loss to green panel dividing lines. Second Vase - Fritting to the foot and rim, with 2cm by 0.7cm shallow chip to the foot. Green enamel loss to green panel dividing lines. There is also glaze inconsistencies and pinholes to each.
