Description

the finely carved seated figure dressed in loose-fitting robes holding a sash in both hands above his bent left knee, on an oval pierced rockwork base

Spink & Son Ltd., 1979.

Condition

With the exception of a nick to the left thumb; four small chips to the pierced rockwork of the base; a 4mm diameter drilled hole and a circular patch of solidified paste to the underside of the base (approx. 11mm diameter); and light scratches, this figure is in very good condition.
