bidding is closed

Description

the body of cylindrical form rising from a short waisted and ribbed foot to a short waisted and ribbed neck, finely carved around the exterior with a broad archaistic strapwork band, wood stand

Condition

This incense holder is in very good condition, with the exception of a chestnut-coloured inclusion at the rim, short fleck-like inclusions that are concentrated to one side, and an inclusion to the base that extends diagonally up approx. 3cm. Please note that the stone is of a slightly more celadon tone than the catalogue illustration would suggest.
