A LARGE BAMBOO LIBATION CUP QING DYNASTY, 17TH/18TH CENTURY

naturalistically carved as a hollowed pine tree trunk with flaring rim, further carved in high relief to the rear of the vessel with old gnarled twisting branches of pine forming the handle, the wood patinated to a warm honey tone 

This cup is generally in good condition. There is a small (3mm by 2mm) chiip to the rim. There is some areas to the interior below the rim that have been touched up and has discoloured to a darker tone.
