Description

the translucent white stone carved as a double-gourd washer, the centre set with a small bat and the exterior with a lingzhi sprig, resting on three small feet, together with a white jade lotus pad ink-stick rest, carved with a small frog and a snail resting on the interior, stands, (4)

Condition

The overall condition of the double-gourd is very good with no apparent nicks or chips. The stone is evenly white throughout. The lotus pad has a few minor nicks along the edges, but is still in quite good condition. The stone has a slight tinge of yellow to one side.
