Description

the translucent white stone of rectangular form carved in low-relief on one side with the famous Qiao Sisters from The Romance of the Three Kingdoms sitting on a rock reading a book, framed by archaistic dragons on the top and a simple border terminating in scrolls at the bottom, the reverse carved with a poem written in xingshu ('running script') discussing the beauty of the two women depicted on the front

Condition

The overall condition is very good and the stone is evenly white.
