Description

the flask of compressed spherical form with two circular main sides enameled with a lotus flowerhead radiating blade-shaped leaves, alternating with formal lotus flowers, enclosed within a ruyi head border and a second border of bats,  the curved sides enameled with formal lotus flowers on a foliate scroll, all set between a waisted neck of rectangular section flanked by a pair of gilt-bronze arched dragon handles, and supported on similarly decorated rectangular-sectioned foot, the backside later embellished with a raised gilt-bronze clock face dial inlaid with white Chinese numerals, all reserved on a turquoise ground

Condition

The clock face on the back has been later added and can possibly be removed. The center of the clock has been filled to plug the hole where the clock hands once were. The overall condition is very good with only some light wear to the gilding. The enamels are intact and the cloison wire retain their gilding.
