Description
the steep curved sides resting on a flared foot rising to a short lipped rim, the sides flanked by four loop archaic taotie, each suspending a loose ring, a band of lotus lappet separating the footrim, the domed cover decorated with further four taotie masks rising to a flower petal knop, the stone of translucent and even white colour

Condition
The overall condition is very good. The censer has one long vein on the base of the interior extending up the side. The underside has a small russet patch along the edge that was originally polished down. The cover has a few minute nicks to the interior and exterior of the rim.
