Description
each with shallow rounded sides rising from a countersunk base, the center decorated with a shou character enclosed within a thick underglaze-blue border, surrounded by horizontal flames forming a lozenge shape, the cavetto painted with four lingzhi sprays alternating with wan symbols, the underside with two striding dragons amongst clouds, the bottom inscribed with a six-character mark within double-lined circles in underglaze-blue
Condition
Both of the dishes are in very good condition with the exception of minor original underglaze-blue cobalt smudges. One of the dishes has a few minute nicks around the rim.
