Description

well-potted with attenuated sides rising to high rounded shoulders below the waisted neck, covered with a brilliant purplish-blue glaze stopping short of the white mouth rim

Condition

The overall condition is very good. There are just a few very faint surface scratches in one area of the shoulder. The actual colour is quite close to the colour in the catalogue.

A Yongzheng blue-glazed meiping of this shape and size was sold in our Hong Kong rooms, 24th May 1978, lot 200, and again 17th May 1988, lot 93.
