Condition

The ewer was inspected under UV light and showed no fluorescence. It is in good condition with craquelure on the neck and spout, with a long L-shaped glaze crack emitting from the collar to the body approximately 5 inches, and some less significant glaze cracks along the body. A tiny glaze chip to the tip of the spout. Minor kiln grit on the foot rim, a potting flaw at the lower body. The color is consistent with the catalogue illustration.
