There are a few scattered minor losses to the paper, the largest one spanning 2in. at the center of the painting about 15 in. down from the top. There are also some minor stains throughout, the most visible one being at the top right, about 5in. wide, visible in the illustration of the catalogue. There is also a vertical line stain running down the center of the painting from the top edge of about 14 in. There are a few minor creases to the painting as well. The wooden stripe used to hang hanging scrolls is missing for this painting.
