Condition
The painting is less red than shown in the catalogue illustration. There is wear and losses scattered throughout the painting consistent with age. As expected, the painting appears to have been backed and remounted several times. There are areas of restoration and some areas have been reinforced. However, It is difficult to discern where the restoration is due to the number of times the calligraphy has been remoutned.
