Description
of tall ovoid form, rising from the straight foot to the broad high shoulders flanked on each side by two lion-mask handles suspending fixed rings, all below a short waisted neck, covered overall with a brilliant turquoise-blue glaze suffused with a fine network of crackles and pooling in the recesses to a deeper blue tone, Japanese wood box (2)
Condition
The vase is in good overall condition and the glaze pools within the well of the loop handles, trickling down the sides.
