Description
the deep rounded sides rising from a short tapering wedge-shaped foot, freely painted to the interior with a medallion enclosing a deer in a landscape, encircled in the well by cranes in flight divided by ruyi-head cloud scrolls, the exterior with six ruyi medallions
Condition
There are several minor areas of restoration to the rim of this dish. There is an 8mm by 3mm frit/glaze pull below the rim to the exterior and numerous areas of glaze pitting to the interior and exterior. There is also two small areas of kiln grit to the interior.
