Description

the baluster body rising from a recessed base to a short waisted neck, brightly enamelled around the exterior with a long-tailed bird perched on a blossoming branch, all between a floral and diaper band at the base and an iron-red and yellow-ground key-fret band at the neck, the lotus-leaf shaped cover similarly enamelled and surmounted by a coiled tendril finial

Condition

This vase is in good overall condition but does have some minor pitting to the glaze. The cover has a (17cm) area of restoration to the rim.
