the figure with painted detail, wearing a black hat and elaborate loose-fitting dragon robe, woven with numerous five-claw dragons and lotus on a reddish-brown ground, holding a ruyi sceptre in his right hand, with his left resting on his attendant's head, who is holding a pomegranate
Condition
This is generally in good condition, some minor staining throughout on the peach, to the robes and background. There are two small areas of silver fish damage to the lower central edge. There is also an 8cm tear to the paper mount to the upper left side and five small holes to the blue ground next to the official's head. There are some creases to the work as it was originally rolled.
