Description

the figure seated in dhyanasana his left hand holding a small offering bowl, his right hand holding a ritual object, wearing loosely fitted robes, with high crown inset with a figure of Amitabha Buddha seated beneath a canopy

Condition

This figure is in reasonably good condition, but does have excessive rubbing to the face, hands, knees, feet and the robe below the right foot. There is also rubbing and scratches throughout the piece and a casting flaw (5cm long) running diagonally across the right arm. The alms bowl could be a later replacement.
