Description

seated on a quatrefoil cushion base, with hands resting on his raised left knee supporting a shoe, wearing a finely incised dragon medallion robe with cloud scroll border, the face with large round eyes and gentle smile, the stone of greyish caramel tone with dark grey veining 

Condition

The soapstone figure is in very good condition with the exception of a restored break across the left side of the base. It should be noted that the stone is of a slightly warmer tone than the catalogue illustration would suggest.
