Description
each of rounded tapering rectangular form, finely carved in low relief to the top with a maiden and her attendant in a garden, the underside profusely carved and pierced, one with a military equestrian scene, the other with immortals, the ivory patinated to a warm honey tone to the top
Condition
The rests are in very good overall condition with the exception of light scratches to the exterior of both and (left rest as illustrated) a small chip to the top of the mountain; (right rest) a small chip to the branch of the tree just above the lower pagoda, and a small flake to the edge of the mountain at the top.
