Description
the horn hilt bound at either end with a gilt band, steel blade inlaid in gold to either side with a dragon in pursuit of a flaming pearl, the horn scabbard similarly bound at either end and to the middle with gilt bands, the base further decorated with a chased gilt floret, and the top set with a handle suspending a loose ring for attachment
Condition
With the exception of five circular chips to the side of the scabbard (the largest circa 8mm), minute dents to the ends of the scabbard and knife, long light scratches to the handle of the knife (caused by the scabbard), and overall minor scratches to the surface, this piece is in very good condition.
