Description

heavily cast, the rounded sides rising from a splayed foot to a slightly everted rim, with four dark blue roundels inscribed wan, shou, wu jiang, 'myriad longevity', on a turquoise ground of scrolling lotus, with a band of key-fret below the rim and lappets above the foot, the base with four-character inscription Zi sun yong bao

Condition

This bowl is in good condition, but there is some rubbing and areas of pitting to the gilding to the interior and some rubbing to the gilding to the foot. There is also some pitting to the enamel and an area of enamel restoration (8mm by 8mm) to one of the roundels.
