the steep sloping sides rising to the rims dressed in gilt, the sides of the exterior painted with five bats in blue enamel

Condition

The dishes are in good overall condition with the exception of a pin head-size iron spot and minor surface scratching to the glaze on the interior of the base of one dish; and the other with a pin head-size glaze-firing imperfection and minor surface rubbing to the interior.
