Oblong small 4to (9¼ x 11¼ in.; 235 x 285 mm). Engraved title and dedication leaf, one unnumbered engraved zodiacal plate, 30 numbered engraved celestial maps after Jamieson; scattered light foxing and browning, upper right margin of first few leaves dampstained. Contemporary half calf, marbled boards, printed paper label on front cover; spine rebacked with original backstrip laid down, some rubbing and wear, endleaves renewed.
