Engraved title and music (207 pp.) with text in Italian and German, list of "Personen," plate 138 signed in the plate by Zulehner ("Zerl."); lacks subscribers' list and table of contents, ink signature in lower right corner of title, some soiling and staining, some gatherings strengthened, a number of small marginal tears repaired, tears to pp. 97-98 and 107-108 repaired, tiny hole to pp. 143-144. Modern half calf; some wear and rubbing to extremities. Half calf gilt clamshell case.

Catalogue Note
First edition, Haberkamp first issue of the vocal score of Mozart's opera Don Giovanni. Rare; only six copies are known to Haberkamp. A full score of the work was not published till 1801.
Only one other copy of this rare edition, published during Mozart's lifetime, appears in the auction records of the last thirty years.
