Catalogue Note
First edition, second issue of Keat's immortal epic poem that Lockhart's review savaged as being "imperturbable drivelling idiocy." The poem is dedicated to memory of the poet/forger Thomas Chatterton, who, like himself, represented the tragic figure of unrecognized genius.
