Description

  • A coat stand
  • 220cm. high;

Condition

A striking and unusual piece. Each coat hook is adjustable and features a screw action into a the grooved stem. Each has a wooden collar knop where it meets the body. Two collars split and glued. Another is missing half. Main stem with numerous holes, presumably where the hooks have been screwed in place. Old marks and scratches overall. Various splits to the stem. Paint residue to top. Nonetheless an ingenious and stylish piece which would benefit from an overhaul.
