Condition

A striking piece of good overall appearance. With a packing case for shipping. Some corners to shelves with minor chips consistent with assembly. One back plate with two cm shallow chip to one short edge at the back so not visible. No chips to leading visible edges. In good condition overall and ready for use and display. Please note that Cappellini have confirmed that only one or two prototypes of this bookcase have been produced.

Catalogue Note

Studio Mangiarotti have confirmed that this is a prototype bookcase made by Cappellini in 2001. Very few were produced experimentally and the bookcase was not put into larger production.
