  • Peter Rabbit's Tea Set, [c.1930s], comprising:
  • White porcelain within box
tea pot, cream jug, sugar basin, 4 tea cups, 4 saucers, 4 tea plates and 2 cake plates; all white porcelian with coloured designs after Beatrix Potter and gold edging, in original box with pictorial label on box lid, one tea plate cracked and repaired with glue, box worn with some repairs



The firm of Grimwade's Ltd, Stoke-on-Trent, manufactured this range of china throughout the 1920s and 1930s. Complete sets with their original box are extremely rare.
