The Adventures of a Halfpenny; Anecdotes for Good Children; The Children in the Wood; Perfidy Detected!; History of Dick Whittington; Dr. Watts's Divine Songs, for Children; Dr. Watts's Moral Songs, for Children; The Galloping Guide to the ABC, together with 2 loosely inserted duplicate leaves; The Good Farmer, together with 2 loosely inserted duplicate leaves; The History of a Banbury Cake; The House that Jack Built; The Diverting History of John Gilpin, first and fourth leaf trimmed; Poetic Trifles, or Pretty Poems; The Riddler's Riddle Book; Short Stories; The Trial of an Ox; each 8 leaves together with pictorial coloured wrappers, numerous woodcut illustrations, inserted autograph note by andrew w. tuer, later mottled calf by Zaehnsdorf, spine gilt in compartments with morocco lettering-piece, marbled endpapers, some leaves and wrappers trimmed, occasional slight spotting, rebacked retaining original spine, slightly rubbed at extremities, bookplate to front fixed endpaper

The note by Tuer states "...a very scarce & complete set of 16 which have the coloured covers & a specially printed titlepage. The binding, as you will see from the stamp in gold on the inside of cover, is by the celebrated Zaehnsdorf. I have a duplicate set bound in the same way..."
