Description

4to, 3 volumes, first edition, number 31 of 300 copies, signed by members of the shore party, numerous plates and illustrations, including 3 folding maps and a folding panorama in pocket, original vellum or vellum-backed boards, top edges gilt, others uncut, some minor browning, marks from pressed flowers at end of volume II, minor soiling to vellum

Condition

There are some marks and minor soiling to the vellum, especially to volume 1 which is slightly discoloured. Internally there is some minor browning, marks from pressed flowers at the end of volume 1, and the first free endpaper to volume 3 is discoloured. All three volumes have the bookplate of Fred Wm. Jones.
