Description

  • Nine Glass Vessels and a Swizzle Stick
  • Heights 2 1/4 to 5 in. 5.7 to 12.7 cm.; Length of swizzle stick 7 1/8 in. 18.1 cm.
comprising an amber glass date flask, two globular jars with flaring mouths, a jar with straight flaring sides and flaring mouth, an unguentarium with indented body, a bottle with ribbed cylindrical body, a bowl with vertical sides, an aryballos with ancient bronze bells attached to the handles (one attachment loop appearing ancient), a cobalt-blue bottle with panels of scrolling vine in sunk relief, and a swizzle stick with spiral decoration.

Condition

Generally good and intact, except: A tiny hole in the date flask, a long hairline crack in the bowl, and restoration to much of the upper neck of cobalt-blue bottle.
