Description

  • An Egyptian Blue Faience Chalice Rim Fragment with Papyrus and Udjat eyes
  • 1 9/16 by 1 3/8 in. 4 by 3.5 cm.
carved in relief with a frieze of udjat-eyes, the eyebrows and pupils delineated in a darker glaze, and in the register below with a papyrus flower emerging from a head of Hathor with sistrum headdress.
