Description

  • An Egyptian Basalt Head of Osiris
wearing a braided beard and the atef-crown, his face with slightly upturned nose and large eyes with long contoured eyebrows and cosmetic lines in relief, the beginning of a column of inscription in sunk relief on the back pillar; traces of gilding on beard and plumes.
