Catalogue Note
The Villa Aldobrandini was built at the beginning of the seventeenth century for Pietro Aldobrandini, nephew of Pope Clement VIII. The engraver Dominique Barrière (1610-1670) interpreted many of the paintings of Claude Lorrain.
