Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is brighter and more vibrant. Condition: Girl: This work is in very good condition. Close inspection reveals very small areas of hairline craquelure towards the centres of the left and right edges. No restoration is apparent under ultraviolet light; Boy: This work is in very good condition. Close inspection reveals a very faint diagonal hairline crack above the right eye extending towards the forehead and very small areas of hairline craquelure towards the centres of the left and right edges and towards the top left corner. No restoration is apparent under ultraviolet light.
