Condition
Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the paper tone of each work is slightly warmer and the yellow jumper and blue collar of (iii) are slightly deeper and richer in the original.
Condition:
All four works are in very good condition and each sheet is hinged to a backing mount at intervals on the reverse and there is some slight undulation.
(i): There is wear to all four corner tips and artist's smudging throughout, inherent to the artist's working process.
(ii): There are spots of paper skinning in the top left and right corners, spots of artist's smudging throughout and handling creases, all of which are inherent to the artist's working process.
(iii): There is some artist's smudging throughout, which is inherent to the artist's working process. There is a tiny pale media accretion to the right of the figure's head.
(iv): There is some slight wear to the top left and right and lower left extreme corner tips. The artist's smudging and diagonal handling crease in the lower right corner are original and inherent to the artist's working process.
