Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration do not reflect the true colours of the work. The blue of the background tends more towards a soft purple and the blue at the top of the tree tends more towards a clay green in the original. The catalogue illustration also fails to convey the collaged elements apparent in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. There is a short vertical rub mark to the right side of the lower edge. There is a minute canvas perforation approximately 20 cm. inside form the right extreme edge, below the foliage, probably original to the artist's working process. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultra-violet light.
