Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the white tends slightly more towards ivory in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. On close inspection there is some light wear to all four extreme corner tips. There is a minute media loss adjacent to the lower left corner on the left extreme edge, a very faint rub mark 30cm above the lower left corner, and a further faint rub mark to the lower part of the black tree shape in the lower right quadrant. A few pin prick-sized isolated fly spots are scattered throughout. There is a fine hairline tension crack at the centre of the lower extreme edge and in a few places on the extreme edges elsewhere. A faint vertical stretcher mark is visible on close examination to the upper centre of the composition. No restoration is apparent under ultra-violet light.
