Condition
Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is slightly softer in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. There are two canvas indentations: one to the top right corner and one 20 cm. beneath this on the right extreme edge. There are three horizontal creases to the canvas across the figure's head, torso and ankles, as well as a horizontal stretcher mark running across the centre of the composition. There is some extremely light wear in all four corners. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultra-violet light.
