Condition
Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is brighter and more vibrant in the original, with the water tending more towards a powder blue/grey. The darker greys in the centre of the composition have soft aubergine undertones in the original.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. There are a few very fine tension cracks to the extreme overturn edges. There is some very light wear to all four extreme corner tips. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultra-violet light.
