Colour:
The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is deeper and richer in the original, with more prominent blue hues in the sky.
Condition:
This work is in very good condition. The sheet is securely held beneath glass and there are artist's pinholes in all four corners. There are several scattered media accretions along the border of the sheet, as well as some light discolouration to all four edges (hidden beneath the frame). There is a slight undulation to the sheet. There is a minute fox mark to the left of the stamp.
