Condition
Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is slightly brighter, with more prominent green lines in the original.
Condition: This work is in very good condition. There are two tiny spots of paint loss; one towards the top left corner on the top extreme edge, and the other right of centre on the lower extreme edge. There are several extremely fine and unobtrusive isolated rub marks, most notably around the top left corner, and around the lower right corner. Upon very close inspection, there are a few pin prick-sized fly spots scattered throughout, as well as several extremely fine hairline cracks to some of the thicker passages of paint. There is an extremely fine and unobtrusive hairline rub mark approximately 10cm. long beneath the centre of the top edge. No restoration is apparent when examined under ultra-violet light
