The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate, although the overall tonality is warmer in the original.
Condition:
This work is in good condition. As is visible in the catalogue illustration, there are stable cracks visible throughout the composition, inherent to the artist's choice of medium. There is light wear in places to the extreme edges and corner tips.
Examination under ultra-violet light reveals infilling to all the surface cracks and intermittent retouching around all four edges.
