Condition

This work is in good original condition. There is some surface dirt throughout. Some wax is visible at the lower right corner, covering a paint loss. There is another spot of wax at the base of the 4th nail going down from the top right corner and another spot of wax covering a paint loss between the 3rd and the 4th nails going left from the top right corner. A few remnants of white paint are visible in the lower part of the work. Colours: the catalogue illustration is accurate but does not convey the volume of the work.
