The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration, although the contrast is stronger in the original.
The work is in good condition and is executed on its original canvas, it is unlined. Under UV light no trace of retouching is visible. In the upper left quadrant, a small loss of painting (5 mm) is visible upon close inspection. One stable crack of the impasto (lower left quadrant) is visible and inherent to the artist's process. 3 losses of painting are visible uppon close inspection in the upper center area of the work (approx. 1 cm each). Some feint rub marks are visible upon very close inspection in the upper center area of the work.
