Condition

This sculpture is in very good condition. The figures sit securely on the bench and are structurally sound. The wooden bench is also in good condition. There are no significant losses or gouges in the resin. There are a few scattered stable cracks in the resin coating on the pant leg of the bending figure on the right. The pigmented and resin coatings on the figure are all loosely and unevenly applied. The opaque pigmented coating has some inconsistencies in application that are imbedded underneath the resin surface so are the artist's intent. The thickness of the resin coating varies, leading to a range of gloss to more matte effects and resulting in pools of resin in several crevices. There is airborne dust and dirt overall, particularly on the deeper pools of resin and on the tops of nubby surfaces.
